Magnus Shiraz is sourced from a unique
site situated on the hillside within our
family vineyards in Padthaway.
Full bodied with flavours of dark & blue fruits, a touch of tarriness & warm spices. The wine has good length of fruit flavour & fine supporting tannins.
Generous and intense, with dark ripe berry fruit flavours, & varietal Cabernet earthy herb and tarry spice flavours giving complexity. It has fine tannins and lingering flavours.
Fresh and lively and has citrus- lime and lemon flavours, some kiwi fruit along with background herbaceous characters. It shows fresh, crisp acidity and good persistence of flavour.
The palate shows fresh white peach and pear, with a little oatmeal, some soft
textural elements and a fine line of acidity and minerality.
Fresh blackberry and plum, dark chocolate and hints of liquorice and spearmint. An elegant soft texture and fine tannins that carry the fruit through to a lingering finish.
Showing aromatic floral notes, mixed dark and blue berry fruits. The palate is full flavoured, showing blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit characters, hints of lavender and mint and background oak spice.
